Responsible for conservation and restoration of furniture and wooden objects, from the following collections: The White House, the U.S. Capitol, the Department of the Treasury and the Decatur House, Washington D. C.; Mount Vernon-George Washington's Home, Mount Vernon, Virginia; the Art Complex Museum, Duxbery, Massachusetts; the Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, Massachusetts; and other public and private collections.

1987-89 Evan Hughes Furniture, Washington, D.C. Worked under Evan Hughes and Tom Edmonds, Furniture Designers and Makers.
Involved in the design and construction of commissioned furniture pieces. Responsibilities included conservation and restoration of Art Nouveau and Art Deco style furniture from private collections. 1984-87 Gold Leaf Studios, Washington, D.C. Worked under William Adair, Frame Conservator; Bernard Sellem, French Master Framer and Guilder; Kan Phung, Cambodian Master Carver.
Responsibilities included the conservation and restoration of gilded objects including frames, furniture, sculpture and architectural details. Projects included working with the following collections: The White House, the Department of State, the Department of the Treasury, the National Portrait Gallery, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Freer Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.; Mount Vernon-George Washington's House, Mount Vernon, Virginia; the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Maryland Historical Society, Baltimore, Maryland; the North Carolina Museum of Fine Arts, Charleston, North Carolina; Marin County Landmark Society, San Francisco, California; the Edsel Ford House, Grosse Pointe, Michigan; the Equitable Life Assurance Co. and the Kennedy Galleries, New York, N.Y. and other public and private collections.

1982-84 El Montaje, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Performed as frame/conservator. Responsibilities included sales representation, direct contact with clients, and assisted in the overall administration.

1981-83 Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Organized and directed the framing and preservation of the Fifth (1981) and the Sixth (1983) Biennale of Latin American Engraving that consisted of more than 700 and 1,200 items respectively of approximately 500 Latin-American artists.

1979-81 Taller-Galleria Andre, Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. Organized and directed the framing and preservation of public and private collections. Performed as frame/conservator. Responsibilities included sales representation, direct contact with clients, and assisted in the overall administration.
